I'm convinced that until we learn to listen to what our body needs and to address all the areas in our lives that don't work for us on a deeper level, we will continue to suffer from pain and disease. There's no long term cure for any condition that arises from a root cause left untreated. There are short term solutions, but your body will fight back. Make peace with your body and it will make peace with you. The next time you get a quiet moment, talk to it. Ask your body "what do I need to do?" then wait. You may see yourself resting "you need rest". You may see a specific food pop into your mind "You need nourishment from this food". You may feel restlessness in your muscles "You need exercise". You may see an issue in your life that needs addressing "Address that issue". You may feel a bit queezy "Don't eat that food again". An uncomfortable vibration though your body "Move away from that fluorescent light and turn the wifi off". You cant sleep because your mind is turning "Slow down and try zen meditation" Listen to it. It starts with whispers before it yells. Hear the whispers.
