No mobile equals more life!

I have officially been without a mobile phone for at least 6 months now and I have to say it's really not THAT necessary to have one. I don't miss the headaches, the locked up jaw, the anxiety and restless nights it caused me one bit. I'm functioning quite well socially without having my face always hovering over a mobile screen. In fact, it's amazing how much more you want to actually 'talk' (attentively) when you aren't always reading something on your phone! I have a home phone that I can talk on for hours with no symptoms and it's cheap. So what this basically means is that if I go out somewhere, I'm not contactable, it's really not that big a deal! WE DID IT ALL THE TIME WHEN WE WERE TEENAGERS REMEMBER? Yes I do have a mobile phone that is always off that I have in case of emergencies (especially because I have kids). I haven't had to use it once. My laptop is now wired to my modem and there is no wifi, so I can now do everything I need to do, using the internet in my office, without any symptoms! It's actually refreshing. I look around now at all the people with their heads glued to a screen and think 'far out man! If you put your head up you would actually realise that there is a whole lot of life you are missing out on right now!' I cringe now when I see kids holding mobile phones. My kids have actually improved academically and socially (and are no longer being fried with radiation) now that they aren't glued to TV's, ipad's and mobiles. My only regret is that I didn't do this earlier. Sometimes it can be hard to make big decisions that make you really stand out as different at first. I mean, every time someone asks for my mobile phone number and I tell them I don't have one, they look at me as if I have two heads. When I say to people that my kids cant play with their mobiles because its not good for them I may sound strange. The truth is though, would you put your kids head in a microwave? Same stuff, lower intensity, still really dangerous! You wouldn't give your kids a cigarrette because it 'may' cause cancer. Don't let them get addicted to radiation either! That's my two cents worth for today. JUST BECAUSE IT'S NORMAL, DOESN'T MEAN IT'S RIGHT!
