I'm just going to throw out there how incredibly amazing people are who have depression and anxiety and still manage to push through every day. How brave and strong you are! I have the utmost respect!
Today I read that depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide. In Australia, it is estimated that 45 per cent of people will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime.
I also read that between 2000 and 2011, antidepressant use in Australia increased by a staggering 95.3 per cent, according to one study.
Another report from 2013 said that Australia is now the second-highest prescriber of anti-depressant medications in the world.
That's a huge increase!
I would never recommend that people stop taking antidepressant medication. But I do have a few other suggestions..
Avoid exposure to emf/emr and get a blusheild! This amazing little device has an incredible knack for balancing people out on a physical, energetic and emotional level.
Watch what you eat. Gluten, dairy, caffeine, MSG, preservatives and sugar are common triggers. Keep a food diary and find what triggers you.
Get counselling!
Get a hormone test! If you feel out of balance but your results are coming back normal, get a saliva test from a Naturopath and they can balance them out with supplements. I strongly recommend Sam Beau Patrick Naturopath
Meditate, create and appreciate! Slow down, take time to smell the roses, be present, find time to do things you enjoy.
Stay strong and find the cause, there is always a cause or multiple causes. Don't give up!
